Wolfgang, the funny thing is that the 18.5 kHz DF variations appeared during all three nights, whereas the colour of 23.4 was steady during that time, except for short periods at sunrise / sunset. Me

Hi Wolf and LF, very interesting. I have been observing 10 to 24 kHz for the last few days, and of course stumbled across the 18.5 kHz transmissions as well - screenshots are on http://people.freenet
