Series tuned L/C cct 1.1 Mhz to shunt the probe ae ? .but is the probe saturated ? ... but with high signal levels any rusty bolt in any metal structure is a noise source G.. From: Stefan.Schaefer@iu
Hello Stefan, AFN has been around a long time and I used to listen to it when I was young in the sixties. Regarding strong signal handling capabilities of the antenna, are you sure that the JFET is t
Hi Alan, Yes, that's it! :-) Crazy, what a day again! Today i discovered and solved several problems, eeeh i mean challenges :-) First the AFN signal, overloading the probe. Now i've added a series L
Hi Roelof, Thanks for your comments and nice to see you'r arround here :-) Am 07.10.2012 17:04, schrieb Roelof Bakker: Regarding strong signal handling capabilities of the antenna, are you sure that
Hi Stefan, I'm not interested in frequencies above 600 kHz. ... Why not trying OPs like the LT1056? Noise? The current noise levels of those devices are at some fA/sqrt(Hz) and voltage noise does not

Hi Edgar, The probe is grounded directly on the aluminium tube which holds the probe. But in a next step i want to move this grounding point 70cm away from the probe, i.e. directly on the pole. Maybe
Hi Stefan, Following Grahams comments. 1. What is the ground for you antenna? 2. Is the steel ladder/ frame work next to the antenna pole re-radiating any signals? Regards Edgar Moonah, Tasmania.
Oh now, i can't belive it. Must tell you that: All the years i suffered from QRM which seemed to come from DLF at 153 kHz. Now as i installed the new wideband LF/MF probe i got even more QRM. The des
