Graham, beacon .?.. when its a slow cw qso ! The main reason why Wolf's cw sounds like a beacon I believe is mainly because it's very exact in timing. Never heard such an exact cw. 73 Clemens DL4RAJ
No beacon, one of the very last modes I'd ever use on MF. Actually I had heard you (G0NBD) with a strong solid signal earlier with PA3ABK. Had switched to 'really slow cw' (but not QRSS) to work 9H1E
Ok Wolf , well would be a case for high speed cw ? catch the call in the qsb peaks , s4 s6 is a good level with 150 watts , to the inv L , 40 ft vert section with top coil , garden is 40 ft x 20 ft ,
Ok Wolf, Ah , so when is a beacon not a beacon .?.. when its a slow cw qso ! I only looked for short time and copied the call two times Jan had qsb on my signal , but he was ok with me , only 1 or 2
Hi Graham, Yes, in a sense DF0WD's transmission must have sounded like a beacon... callsign repeated multiple times, since after the initial call Fortunato had only copied the 'DF0' but not the rest;
Now at 23:32 Wolf has been calling CQ. a while ago he had mentioned that he was listening 501 to 503 kHz as well. 73, Markus From: [email protected] Graham Sent: Saturday, December 22, 2012 11:
