Hello Alex, all first of all, Alex, i confirm that your email has been reflected. Catching your message was almost a 'bingo' becouse of
uncertainty
of the frequency. I have tested in the other hours without results. As you known, EbNaut requires the milliHertz precision. To prove this, i have often tryed to shift the frequency of -only- 1 mHz on the strong signals of IW4DXW and i loose completly the decode. The Markus' plot often can't help to find the offset if this is larger than 0.5 mHz or if the signal is DX. EbNaut with a TXCO is possible but only for short periods. In 15 or 30 minutes the drift is (hopefully) not too much, so the signal can be decoded. So, for now, it should be better if you reduce the no. of symbols or their duration. I understood that you are in a good way for EbNaut but you need a GPS or Rb to stabilize the QRG . You can easly found on the Bay an used GPS frequency reference (Trimble Thunderbolt or similar) . They provide an output of 10 MHz and you can drive your DDS with this. I found for 80 Euros one Epsilon-Clock 10 MHz. Once the GPSDO is ok, then you can try OP32 transmissions and check the results on 'The' great Markus' grabber. If your milliHertz's are steady, then your setup is EbNaut ready.
Why "list=10000"?
Yes, sorry. This comes from previous settings of the auto-decoder just to be sure to search also fo high rank decodes. Check also PSE: 2019-01-23 1 transmission only from 04:00
no, sorry this is not possible becouse unfortunatly the storage hard disk becomes full yesterday night (around 23.00 UTC) so no more recording after that hour. I have restarted system this afternoon after 14.00 UTC so i can check for this night, if you will be again on air 73, Domenico IZ7SLZ On Wed, 23 Jan 2019 at 17:29, Alex R7NT <[email protected]> wrote:
