Hi Stefan

Thanks for the Suggestions please .
My loction now is 13.051121 N  77.635445E

New location from Next month is 12.785921 N   77.61178E

As you can see the area i am in now is very crowded with TVs Inverters chargers etc
My 160m antenna is a 12 m Vertical wire with a top of 20m wire  the top loading wires are drooping , All the radials i can add in the samll roof space of 30X40ft .
The antenna and radials are on the roof  2 floors 20 feet high .
for RX hada samll flag , a switchable cross loop of 4 feet .   tuned coax loop of 25 feet circumference for 160m .
yes the newer place has one Devil of 220 KV at the south about 200ft away , This is one QRM source i have to tackle with a  noise canceller etc .
Yes low impedance LNAs and other filters i can build , only the ferrites are a big problems here !

FR5DH lives in the middle of the clean ocean !! I live in the middle of a noisy city HI  I hope i can manage it with good help and suggestions
Yes your encouragement makes me happy and I could leave a dedicated RX all night connected to the Internet for all to see .

please let me know about the Various RX people use and their reviews  ,Will keep one Rx from Sun set to Sunrise

Have a great time and hope to hear you all !!

Best regards
Kumar

Hi Kumar,

What is your locator? And the locator of the new QTH?

WSPR: Just have a look at http://wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map (Select MF and 24 hours) to see who is active. There are chances to pick up stations from VK but also from Europe. FR5DH is a real station and he managed regular decodes from Europe. This is a similar distance, also with a significant land path component. So you can do it too.
There are different RX antenna solutions of course. Your RX will have a low input impedance and maybe it is a bit deaf on this band (?). So a preamp can be helpful. If you want to avoid building one, you will need a large antenna. But if you are active on 160m then maybe you have a large vertical antenna. This can be tuned and resonated to the new band. It will help to prevent overloading the RX and gives you enough signal.
Or, build a tuned loop! This will also help to reduce QRN from uninteresting directions and some gain in the direction of interest.

What types of antenna will you have on the new QTH?

Hi Stefan and freinds

Merry Xmas and a happy new year .

I am active on 160m meters with a TS590s and the IC7300 .
The TS590s is probably good for 630M .
I am moving out of the city in a months time and  will have more place .

it would be good to start receiving first , will have to  build some LF antennas for receive .

I will try to leave the RX on WSPR mode each night , after local midnight ,
What are the chances of listening  ? who are the active stations in Asia ?
would also like to set up a remote RX in some rural low noise area .
Thanks again
Best regards
Kumar
