The idle carrier is to see if the durinal phase inversions are still
happening.  They seem to have vanished since the fall.

Could have carried a 41 character message!

Can any other amateur band make better use of 10uW ERP?

Low attenuation and a path stable enough for 30uHz bandwidth would
be hard to find elsewhere but VLF.
