Paul & All: Understood. With the move from the rcx versions of WSPR-X to the 2.0 general release version I thought it was worth mentioning. We know Chris did not have the box checked. When I first upgraded to 2.0 I ran some rx on 40m in the late afternoon as a test and had some 2-part decodes from a ZS1 station. It took an 30 minutes or an hour or so to get the second part of the ZS1 transmissions. So perhaps it is the deep decoder not getting part of the recieved signal correctly... Just a guess on my part.... 73 Mike wa3tts -----Original Message----- From: N1BUG <[email protected]> To: rsgb_lf_group <[email protected]> Sent: Thu, Dec 13, 2018 11:40 am Subject: Re: LF: 2E0ILY Mike, it is not just you. I can't explain why it is happening but over the past few nights I have been getting the Type 2 WSPR messages from Chris, meaning I need to decode him at least twice (one of each type) in order to have something valid which would upload to WSPRnet. Chris, good luck sorting out this mystery! 73, Paul On 12/13/18 11:28 AM, [email protected] wrote: > > Chris: OK, Possibly/likely it is a quirk in the deep decoder of > WSPR-X 2.0.0 on my end not reading your transmission correctly. > Close, but no cigar, as it has been said.
