Hi all I am now QRV for a while on 475kHz from a remote site away from the ever increasing background noise in London. To make some QSOs I will try and be on the band each night at about 20.30 for Europe and then
if wspr reports suggest propagation looks promising.
23.00 onwards for the USA. It was very nice to work LA3EQ on FT8 and G6TTI DD2UP and SO5AS on JT9. Unfortunately the delay in the system makes CW impossible ! Although the TX power is typically 50 - 60W the antenna, which is self resonant on 540kHz, seems to radiate quite well. If anyone would like to try for a QSO - 20.30 ish daily (not Friday 14/12) or drop me a mail at [email protected] Thanks David |
