I have been contacted by Andy G0SFJ who has got an old Unimor 2511/2 MF transmitter.

It looks like a 6U rack-mount unit containing a superb variometer. He has sent some pictures and I have posted them at http://wireless.org.uk/Unimor/

It only runs 50W as standard but it looks like a great basis for an MF TX.
