Hi Chris,
A .usr file will already have 'optimized' settings (waterfall
contrast+brightness, and possible noiseblanker) for a certain receiver /
input level to the soundcard, etc.
The easiest way to get started with the real slow modes is from SL's
main menu,
"Quick Settings", "Slow morse reception".
Only the "very slow modes" (in the same submenu) are more tedious to
configure because there are dozens of methods to compensate soundcard
clock drift, etc.
Just dropping in a usr file into the SL folder will give you (more or
less) the same result as recalling one of the preconfigured settings
mentioned above.
All the best,
Wolf DL4YHF.

Hello LF'ers
Is asking for a .usr file for receiving DFCW60 with SL too simplistic
a request if I modify it to suit my sound card ? If not would anyone
share one to play with please? Thanks.
