Getting closer but still no QSO !

I decoded PA0A calling me several periods but he did not respond to me sending reports.

I decoded G3KEV calling me just once but saw him on the waterfall for several periods.

Then I got a report of bad spurs on my signal (only 23 dB down) with a screen shot to prove it. It looked very bad so I stopped transmitting. Shortly after that I decoded a CQ from G3KEV at -25.

G3KEV was decoded by other North American stations also.

PSK Reporter and me do not get along well, I find it nearly impossible to figure out what it's trying to tell me. Usually I just end up grinding my teeth and growling at it ! However I believe my JT9 signals were heard by several other stations in EU.

Subsequently I did some testing regarding the report of spurs. They appear to be more than 50 dB down in my own receiver. However I do not trust local measurements as overloaded receivers can do strange things. I ran WSPR for a while with the exact same setup I use on JT9. I received reports up to +15 but not a single double decode. So it remains a mystery what happened earlier when I had the bad report. As far as I can tell I am clean.

Anyone up for another night of JT9 or perhaps QRSS? I have never used QRSS but am willing to try that mode.
