Hi
Jacek, VLF,
from previous successful DK7FC decodes, it looks as if
you might also be able to receive a ~10 dB weaker
signal from here (10 uW EMRP). Apparently the rain has
ended now, so I would like to try an overnight EbNaut
transmission with only two characters:
Frequency: 8270.0333333 Hz,
2 characters, 8K19A, 18 bit CRC (!),
90 s symbols, message duration 9:36 hours,
start 2017-02-18 19:00 UT, end 4:36 UT (Sunday)
The 1/30 Hz frequency offset has been chosen to avoid
mutual interference with the announced DK7FC
transmission on 8270.1 Hz: With the frequency spacing
being an integer multiple of both symbolrates, and
synchroneous bit timing, the symbol waveforms should
be orthogonal because the "other" signal always
undergoes a whole number of 360° cycles during the
decoder's symbol integration interval.
Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
