Confirmed.

Unfortunately the Wolfson never worked with the quad core RPi.

I'm running an experimental remote receiver based on the Wolfson/Cirrus audio deck since March 2015 on the RPi-A+ and now RPi-3.

- Raspbian with modified kernel; latest version:
http://www.horus.com/~hias/cirrus-driver.html

- moved the root partition to a CF-card (ext4) on a cheap external card slot, leaving /boot on the micro-SD. All high quality micro-SDs or USB-sticks failed after 3-8 months here.

PS: antenna is 2x60cm vert. dipole and INA111 pre-amp.
