Hi all,
Now is there any progress in this topic? Does someone try to get a
decode? Is someone providing signals on LF and/or LF at all?
I will send you a usr file here over the reflector that will record wav
files periodically, so people could do a test.

Hi Stefan , all
using Spectrum Lab recorder for EbNaut is sure a more convenient
procedure becouse you have to use just the simple commands:
" wave.record" or "wave.stop" in the "Scheduled Action" table to start
and stop the recording at the time needed.
If you want to produce a recording file, for example, every 15 minutes,
you can put the only command "wave.record" in the "periodic action"
menu. This command is able to close the previous .wav file and open the
new one exactly at the period of time chosen.
In my experience, using Spectrum Lab recorder for repetitive
recordings, the only small problem noted is that the initial time of
the .wav file is always different of some milliseconds (maybe this
depends from my slow Pc); so i need a small adjustments at the start
offset in EbNaut-rx program for every file to be decoded.
I invite you to test one of the two .usr configuration prepared by Wolf
included in the examples of his latest Spectrum Lab release.
One is for managing the I/Q signals of an SDR receiver. The other can
manage the real audio coming from a traditional receiver.
I think that Riccardo iw4dxw and Michel F5wk are using the ebnaut SDR
configuration, and according to their reports seems that it works very
well.
I'm using the second .usr for the real audio. It works but i have
experienced always a lack of 5-6 dB in the EB/N0 of the signal decoded
with .wav files generated with this method respect to the same signal
decoded using the .wav files generated with the DF6NM's (inverse FFT)
method within the same Spectrum Lab session.
There are for sure some wrong parameters in my setting.
I hope in more EbNaut transmissions on-air so i can test better the
settings comparing the results of both methods.
All the best.

Hi
Domenico,
Did you ever use the SpecLab internal decoder? As far as i know you
need to know and configure the start time of the transmission before it
starts. Can you confirm this?
I would recommend to record files for an eventual postprocessing. I'm
(still) using the method which is developed by Markus.
I could explain this method to the newcomers but if the other method is
easier to understand and more comfortable and more flexible then this
may be preferred.

Hi all,
Just for start, there are some
very useful notes
written by Wolf (DL4YHF) on his site regarding EbNaut recorder
function of Spectrum Lab
http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/speclab/EbNaut_Rcvr.htm
By the way i'm also thinking to
write some operative
notes, or at least, to describe my setup, hoping that can be useful to
other OM to enter in EbNaut.
For the moment i'm at disposal to
assist by email.
