OK, all right.
It's a rainy day here and i'm winding coils all the time. Soon there will be a first version for 2.97 kHz, just a few kV but good for a first test. It's not easy at all to generate 10 kV at 2970 Hz on a 470 pF antenna!!
So i have the antenna available for a first ULF test in the coming days.
My VLF preamp has been repaired and is working better now, using an OP27 at 5V DC! I looks like i'm now band noise limited at 5 kHz and maybe just a few dB are missed at 3 kHz.

4uHz, a good result for equipment and propagation.

We are struggling with the QRN. A crazy time of year to be
doing this. Most days are quiet only between 04:00 and 12:00,
just a few days recently offer a full 04:00 to 21:00.

We should perhaps try to use this daytime window.

Before suggesting further attempts I'd like to spend a bit
more time measuring your recent signals. I'd like to work
out the chance of getting 20 chars across in 16 or 17 daylight
hours.

I haven't exhausted recordings of the 22nd and 25th, there's
still measurements to pull out and things to try.
