I should point out that the VK3ELV --> JA event happens just about every night that Phil is QRV. Its been a season long event, not constrained by this geomagnetic event. What was abnormal from last week was that ELV, like WE2XPQ, experienced a session where 5-7 JA stations were supplying reports. That was abnormal, but 3-5 days before this geomagnetic event.
