Interesting indeed, thanks.   The idea of an inductor to
restrict the shoot-through current is new to me and looks
great.  And the recovery winding over the tuning coil to
restrict the load current by taking down its Q is another
neat and devious idea.

With my push-pull arrangement I might try a recovery
winding on the output toroid and a bridge of switching
diodes.  It works for SMPS so I don't see why it wouldn't
help in a PA.
