Yes, for them : usual path, good season, good time (sun set on east
Australian seaside) and path over sea...
Around 1000 Z stations WG2XXM (nr Oklohama city), WH2XGP (nr Seattle
Washington state), WH2XND (nr Phoenix AZ) and WH2XCR (Hawaï archipel) had
receptions from VK2DDI, VK2XGT and VK3ELV ON MF WSPR2.
In west European the season for listening VK is just begining, but it is
not so easy. Use at minimum one Wavelength beverage or 2 or 4 x EWE or K9AY
system. Choose a quiet location with no High voltage electrical lines minus away
2 km of distance, use only DC battery for your RX and PC, and a lot of
patience...
On the way, I heard last nights the first season signals, coming on
evening, from VK on 160m CW.
Good luck !
Andy F6CNI.

These phenomenon were quite common in the pre-GMDSS era.
it was quite "normal" to hear SanFrancisco coaststations in the ZL and
VK area (and vice-versa) when these conditions occur.
Same goes for EU <> Brasil (no MF active their now) this area was
bounded very sharply and could last for hours.
BR area is QRN 5+. (Flashovers in the radio room!)
Local tfc was cleared via 4MHz and MF was not useable there.
Another EU-mid <> Pacific. Marshall Island Micronesia
area.
Red Sea to VK
SFO <> Hawaii
Sigs were very strong, and were able to activate the AutoAlarm. :-(
