Hi Markus, Group.
The fuzzy signal was due to strong winds Monday night that blew the
down-lead too close to the wooden ATU frame. This caused arcing and
several cm of the frame to go up in smoke. The LF RF was conducted
through the frame and found its way back to the DDS causing the frequency
jumps. A nice porclean stand-off insulator has been deployed to correct
this and the TX will resume operation tonight.
I noticed the drift on your high resolution grabber last night. Glad you
found and fixed the problem.
Thank-you also to Henny for the nice capture last night with the DCF39
'sidebands' and Gary and Terry for the fuzzy captures!
