Glad you found the problem Dex.   Will look forward to another
test tonight or soon.  I'll try to put out my new E-field
receiver this evening if I can finish some alterations quickly.
It has much lower noise floor.

I wrote:

Probably 1 second is good enough because the symbol period would
be at least 30 seconds (rate 1/8) or 15 seconds (rate 1/16).

A good measurement of carrier S/N and phase will allow a suitable
rate and timing to be selected.
