Ive got a couple more days working from here on Maui and interesting MF rx results to date - we have another MF station on Molakai WH2XCR on an adjacent island - that station has a clear view of the ocean and views towards to the East and USA and generally all directions -  and when on tx will Im sure provide some stunning results (Merv puts out a very strong 160m signal)
 
Im blocked to the East by a 10,000ft Volcano with a 15 degree elevation view to stations more to the East and South - ie Texas and Oklahoma -  my overall rx WSPRs/n is some 9-20dB worse than XCR  all of which I cant put down to poorer antennae or local noise - certainly my beautiful view isn't radio friendly. No decodes from Okie and Texas so far
 
Sadly conditions have been mixed but nightly wspr decodes to some 4500Kms have been possible but no decodes of any ZL and VK stations which is kind of surprising from my open view to the SW. Perhaps we can spur our friends to the South to put more stations tonight or over the weekend.
 
137 is just too noisy here from the elevators variable freq drives.
