Generate Opera and RTTY on 477 ?
If you have a Topband Tx/Rx
generating Opera Beacon OP8 of QSO
mode OP2 is simple
All that's needed is a Topband
Tx/rx , a divide by 4 , ie ,
2 flip-flops and a 477khz tuned
filter
Dividing the CW output of the topband
rig by 4 gives access to 477K, use either
the audio drive or
key the rig directly in CW or the Amp
directly in CW from the software
G,
Rig TX at 1.914 MHz ,
Translates to 478.5 KHz
If you have one of the small CW
class d/e amplifiers , then you can use
the existing divider chain
or just 1 flip-flop to give
x2 qrg , 10 / 20 watts is sufficient for OP8
beacon use on 477
For a simple access to RTTY , set
the Top-band tx up for 340
Hz shift , this reduces to 85 Hz at
477K
Use the split a/b on the tx/rx to Rx on
477 and Tx on 1.9 MHz
