nice grabber, and also a great website with interesting explanations and pictures. One I especially like is http://rn3aus.narod.ru/VLF/vlf-wide-capt51-selfad.bmp, a spectrogram reminiscent of high storm clouds above an open landscape before nightfall.

When adding the two antennas, have you somehow set up relative phases and amplitudes to create a cardioid directional pattern?

 

I am wondering whether the 424 uHz spectrogram is really centered on 5755 Hz, or actually on the third harmonic frequency (17265 Hz)?
