Even 160m does not draw the crowds these days except for contests.
Less radio amateurs about and an abundance of appliance fiddlers using black boxes and one antenna that fits all. The preferred gadgets these days are IPHONES, WEB GAZING, AUTO CONNECT COMPUTER QSO'S
GPS DIRECTION FINDER , but to mention a few

Thanks for the comment Mal

With the help of Stefan, Alan, John and co who put up with a
lot of "OFF TOPIC" mails I now have a reliable work
around. I just have to re-address my mails either via my
address book or by manual input. It is only Blacksheep so
far that gives me this issue. The work around is not too bad
an imposition.

Stefan's comments about lack of activity especially normal
CW on 472 are right. Personally I am not very excited by
WSPR etal. What gets me excited is say hearing Mal, Stefan
and/or Christian and co hammering away in QSO (in any
language). There used to be many more stations active on the
band in the old days here in the UK but not very many now
(none apart from one Sunday local sched)............:o(

True true. But i fear it will happen
again some day, due to several pseudo super features.
NEW does not automatically mean BETTER, older OMs should
know that. But obviously the advertisements are doing a
 great job.
BTW, i remember the argumentation that the new features of
yahoo will help to rise newcomers on the LF bands. But
where
are they now? Maybe in the web instead on the bands, but
not
 even that!

"black-ball" you even if we should really want to :-))

certain
ISP Yahoo being one. In past years the majority of forged
address spam came from Yahoo, gmail and others. The have
now
instituted some form of authorisation which causes a lot
of
their legitimate mail to be bounced by other sites.

and we still had access to the administator, that he
implimented a facility which was available to check that
mail was genuinely from the quoted address, the immediate
result was mail from Yahoo, aol, gmail and a few other
started bouncing because they wouldnt use the facility
themselves....the blacksheep admin had to take it off
again
to allow normal operation. It now seems they are having so
many complaints they have started using it or something
similar and unmarked mails from blacksheep are being
bounced
by your Yahoo account!!...........or its something like
 that.
