Markus, T/A enthusiasts

Yes, considerably more QRN last night than previous few nights. Will run grabber tonight if EU stations are transmitting.

Joe,

that's a beautiful Argo screenshot! Glad to see both Andy and Alex in there, along with Stefan and myself.

Jay had also posted a good spectrogram on the W1VD grabber site, but the background noise / QRN was apparently significantly worse than the night before.

Looks like the weather is still antenna-friendly, so I might as well get on again tonight (if only for continuity ;-)

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)

PS: Stefan, skies = heavens above ;-)

Despite the high K and A indices, UW8SM, DK7FC, DF6NM and R7NT were copied
here last night.  This is most gratifying -- it reminds me of the 'good
old days' when the band is active like this.

For RX, the 100m wire (usual TX aerial) was used.  It has 2 mH of series
inductance.  The RX was the FT-817 without the external (35dB) preamp.
IPO was engaged (to remove the internal preamp) and the AGG was off.

73 to all
