Seems that right before dark is best.  Jay set that up for us and had me start early afternoon and through to 2400 as you saw.  That gray line might be the key to the VLF propagation, at least the upper end. Bob

Hello Bob,

Excellent results on Paul's grabber! I'd suggest to try to leave a trace in daytime! The 10 km wave may behave different to 137 kHz or 74 kHz!
