We are being hit with a snow storm right now.  I disconnected the ant from termination of TX/RX switch and then put .5 inch spark gap from ant to ground and unhooked the static drain!  Like a 1KW spark transmitter discharging across that gap at a time of strong snow squall!
I am going to give 137 a shot tonight as Joe is going to go to RX mode.  Might attract a few of the other "East Coasters" to get on for a night of QRSS 2200 meter style...
