I use older HP 3326A two channel sigs gen with Novas 10 MHZ OCXO ref osc.  Buddy works at a lab and had it on shelf with no need and I got the OCXO for 100 bucks.  Just plug in 120 V AC and 10 MHZ output BNC into HP and was done.  Both channels now very stable.  Need two channels for SSB with the old Nautel NDB transmitter as my all band exciter [MF/LF]

Your VFO must be quite stable and accurate. How do you generate your TX frequency for 2200m?
