Hi all,

There must have been good condx last night. Apart from the usual ufb
reception by W1VD i got OPDS reports from K3SIW, email attached. This
may be interesting for DF2JP too!
I also saw a trace at YV7MAE on the right frequency but no OPDS decode
(yet! :-) ).

Hi Stefan,

It was very cold here last night, down almost to 0 F. Not sure if that helped but deep-search opera decoded DK7FC 3 times:

2013-12-07 05:10:29 DK7FC 7041km 137572.914Hz 3mHz -42.2dBOp 65% 17.3dB
2013-12-07 04:00:27 DK7FC 7041km 137572.914Hz 4mHz -44.6dBOp 81% 17.5dB
2013-12-07 01:40:27 DK7FC 7041km 137572.913Hz 3mHz -43.6dBOp 50% 17.1dB

In addition to your signal in the attached screen capture, if you look real close there's a hint of DF2JP at the start. The Iceland grabber showed that signal significantly weaker than yours, as was also the case here. No decode, but it must have been close.

Reception was made as usual with an e-probe at 10' AGL, SDR-IQ, and Dell PC.

Thanks for putting out your usual great signal and season's greetings to you and your family.
