John,

regarding Op-32, Europe is currently as active as a lively bee-hive:

But anyway, it would be just great if you could insert a few high power transmissions! After all, your transmission on August 27 last year was the one which started the Opera correlation development: df6nm.bplaced.net/opera/xes/xes_correlation_wd2xes_balanced.png

Don't know how much it would affect Jay if you ran full throttle. Here I have drawn up a 137560 Hz, 30 dB notch in SpecLab's FFT filter, which attenuates DK7FC just enough to avoid desense but still detects him alright: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26404526/notchfilter.png

In the future, maybe we can agree on some crude time division scheme, eg. even hours East->West, odd hours West->East ?

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)

If any of the EU OP32 stations are active tonight, I will be running a
very QRP signal on WD2XES so that Jay and I can play receiving games. If
there appears to be no transmitting interest at the EU end, I can put a
1W ERP signal on 137.520 or thereabouts.

John, W1TAG/WD2XES
