Interesting, the signal came up at Laurence’s QTH shortly after sunset, nighttime path between Laurence and Bob, and (based only on overland and over-water loss, not considering RX, cultural noise and latitude effects) a 12dB advantage for the Alaskan path compared a path to a point central to Henny, Mike and Hartmut. Interested to hear Laurence’s reply to Bob regarding CFH.

It certainly looks like my signal!  Would never expect that freq would propagate to your part of the world at 1 W ERP!  
How well do you here CFH on 73.6?  They apparently are heard world wide and deep sea depts.
