I'm using a LP100A vector wattmeter

with dual coupler option
Beside the standard coupler I have 
the RF sensor LPC6 (.1-20MHz ,1KW) which is not listed on the web page
but available on request (the power rating is quite conservative :-). 
Not a cheap solution but well worth its price.
But read yourself the long features list.
BTW It shows nicely the power overshoot of the IC-706 on 475kHz
at low power, e.g. when you set it to say 2,7W the transmission starts with
around 3,5W so one has to take care not to overdrive the PA and shoot the FETs.
