Subject: LF: Back on air at last

Around six months after my loading coil fire, the insurance company has finally finished the repairs to my house and conservatory. I have re-engineered my antenna so the vertical part of the inverted-L is at the end remote from the house (a bonus is a lower noise level) and is now fed by coax buried in the garden. The antenna current is 2.8A, which is close to the old summer (leaves on trees) figure, so all looks well.
I will be running some tests on 136kHz today on Op8 and QRSS3, with
some Op32 this evening. Reports would be welcome.

My thanks to John, F5VLF, who reported on my tuning up CW tests
earlier.
