Mike,

Local copy , if your making adjustments , at this level , 15:53 136 G3XDV de GW8GLO Op8 138 mi -7 dB you could use any speed to OP1 , 60 seconds, not as long to wait ! , all speeds have the same resolution , OP1 is -20 dB s/n ,

Im just using the 40 ft vertical with no tuner , skanti r5003 , for some reason the sdr became glitchy .odd as it worked 100% for days .. but still round 10 dB over the min decode level , that would put you down to 40 mW ?

73 -G..

16:18 136 G3XDV Op8 -23 dB
15:53 136 G3XDV Op8 -30 dB
15:28 136 G3XDV Op8 -27 dB
14:56 136 G3XDV Op8 -25 dB
14:31 136 G3XDV Op8 -25 dB
14:06 136 G3XDV Op8 -25 dB

Subject: LF: Back on air at last

Around six months after my loading coil fire, the insurance company
has finally finished the repairs to my house and conservatory. I have
re-engineered my antenna so the vertical part of the inverted-L is at
the end remote from the house (a bonus is a lower noise level) and is
now fed by coax buried in the garden. The antenna current is 2.8A,
which is close to the old summer (leaves on trees) figure, so all
looks well.

I will be running some tests on 136kHz today on Op8 and QRSS3, with
some Op32 this evening. Reports would be welcome.

My thanks to John, F5VLF, who reported on my tuning up CW tests
earlier.

73 de Mike, G3XDV
