Hello Graham and others on the group.
No Opera decodes have been received here for the past 2 nights,
unfortunately.
The noise starts at about 6:45 daylight savings time and ends
12 hours later. Before the clocks advanced, it started 5:45.
It sounds like very strong 60 Hz buzz with changing harmonic content
that presents in bands about 40 kHz wide every 100-200 kiHz.
It is very strong near the power lines about 400m from the shack.
The discussion on 4mm litz by Markus has been most interesting.
I several 25 metre lengths and by patiently winding three of them
into flat pies and stacking them about 1 cm apart, managed to get
about 2 mH. The idea of pies came from G3NYK and before getting
distracted, I attempted to measure the Q using a M0BMU procedure.
I hope to get back to TX on 137 kHz soon and thank all those who
operate the grabbers which are very helpful for monitoring.
Thanks also to Markus for his strong Op sig and those others
who tried the past few nights.

Yes , with 3 and 6 dB over the limit as well
Pity on the noise , I'm sure the other station's would not of been
that far behind , is it wide band or pulsed ?

HI Graham,
It was good to see Markus callsign on the screen. The RX is running again
tonight and my sentiments concerning the mains problem have been clearly
voiced to those concerned!

Dear Group,
Despite very high mains noise levels there were 2 Op32 receptions
of DF6NM at 0000 and 0449 at -37 and -35 dB respectively.
