never worked on a vessel but navtex is an interesting mode, received
stations from Florida and New Orleans... However I only get good decodes
when the signal is audible in a 350Hz filter.So I think qrss3 and higher
and wspr2 are far superior...

Very interesting. Have you all been radio operators on vessels in the
past or presence?
Would you think that this mode is suitable for MF amateur radio
communication during high QRN times?
If there is more interest, maybe by other listeners in that NAVTEX DX
group, i could run the beacon a bit longer.
Any suggestions what information is missed in the beacon text?
