Even with Spectrum lab and the 'Frequency error correction" function active, I'm not able to generate such stable signal here.
How likely is it that a device over there did accidentally generate such a stable signal on exact 8970.000 Hz :-)
 
But I understand your frustration that you can't reproduce that tiny line  Hi Hi

Im still trying to replicate all the stuff that went on yesterday but havent been able to produce an 8970 artifact myself....yet. I just think the signal was just too dang strong :-)

I am seeing a weak line here at the moment but we have charged snow raining (reining) down - i need decrease the fft a but more too so i can delineate between 000 and 0.001Hz a bit more; I dont think the geomag/iono funnies we get at this geolat is causing much spread at this time

We are expecting some large "W" toroids in a few days and the cable company will try to reduce the noise from the Alpha XM2 cable psu's and their pseudo square wave drivers - just awful.
