Hi G
Decided I would go measure the ant, rather than quote what it was
going to be. (Would I lie to you baby).
10W RF
Ant. Marconi inv. L. Vertical section 3.5m - Top section single
wire 7m long.
Absorption Factors:-
Metal core clothes line 400mm from Loading coil, 400mm from vertical
wire.
9m steel mast with VHF antennas 2.5m from feed point.
6m ally mast with 4m antenna & TV ant. 2.2m from feed point
House and wiring 2.5m from feed point
40m Doublet and feeder 2.2m from feed point
8x6 aluminium greenhouse under Top Wire far end
Top Wire crosses 40m Doublet wire 200mm from its end 100mm vertical
clearance.
Top Wire ends 100mm from 6.3m steel mast
6.3 steel mast emerges from top of plum tree 5m tall.
Holly tree 5.5m tall 5m from end of Top Wire
Active antennas horizontally 5m from Top Wire
7/8 28MHz vertical 7m horizontal from Top Wire
Surrounded by Houses with overhead mains electricity feeds on 3
sides.
Can I sat it was shoe horned in.
If you can work out a loss figure I would appreciate it.

My garden fence gets further away, don't ever be foolish enough to
decry small antennas and QRP operation. Don't decry give it a try.

After complaining about the poor conditions last night, the
overnight results were better.
I had several reports form PA1GSJ who has not previously decoded
me. Also a new best for me, getting near to that 2000Km mark.
