Life is full of surprises. I thought I would have a day
out with the Data Appliance Operators !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+ 3 ur signal but I can work you at this time of day on CW
and others around Europe, no advange there with WSPR.
I have a suitable TX for data but need to build a suitable
interface between it and my amplifier.
I also have a mixer board Decca 5540/dd new for a GPS rx
and a hi stab 10 Mcs block osc, this coupled to a 10Mcs transceiver would make
an ideal TX transverter suitable for all Data modes.
So far on CW and QRSS and Opera I can work near and far DX
so there is no rush for me to get into Appliance Operator mode
at present.
I also prefer Attended operation that is where the
excitement comes in and not go to bed and keep legs crossed all night hoping for
Miracle decodes that might never happen and Pray that the Internet never fails,
for some this could cause premature expiry into the next
world!!!!!!

You got a decode of my signal. Isn't that amazing! Even i daytime!
:-) Thank you.
Best report so far is +3 dB.

G3KEV explores
the digimode world. That is a historical moment :-)
Now you just need a
mixer to transmit all the FSK stuff :-) It is very simple and makes fun! You
can run the TX while sleeping. Do CW all the day but run TA WSPR while
sleeping.
You can define that as another interpretation of "antenna
efficiency", i.e. the time (or duty cycle t/24h) where RF power is actually
radiated from the antenna :-)

Ps
things are improving now decoding DK7FC and M1GEO
watch out you could be next. Seems a temperamental mode

My Logic---If I can decode one then that should
apply to all the others

Simple one, but timing, is your timing
OK?

I am seeing quite a lot of acty on the waterfall
and you are probably there, 8 visible at present but Decode is a
different story.
Like I said if these same stns were on QRSS I
would get an ID and you would probably be there also
Most are audible with me and strong enough for a
CW qso

Strangely enough I can only decode GW8MLA
and there are another several stns active at present on WSPR-2.
Most are strong and audible

Well that will give you a rather
distorted view of the usefulness of the mode then.
