If I was the “authority” I would have only CW and no other modes on 630m.
Hi Pete,

Really?
Well, i bet for G.. it would be only SSB and Opera ;-)

For me it would be

Exclusive CW (QSO mode) from 472...475
QRSS/DFCW (all slow modes) having 100 Hz of space
then WSPR and Opera, 200 Hz each (closer together than now)
a small range for CW beacons (but not in the QSO part of the band), maybe 500 Hz BW
On the upper 2.5 kHz (476.5...479) i would allow to play arround with what ever (including SSB)

So everone can do what he/she wants. 3 kHz of space for CW QSOs is really enough (despite the NDBs and their sidebands), don't you think? Have you ever seen/heared a moment of CW activity which covered more than 3 kHz (say > 8 QSOs) to the same time??

A CW QSO is not disturbed at all by QRSS/WSPR/Opera activity which is outside the filter BW or say a few kHz distant. Otherwise the NDBs would cause interference as well. So what is the problem?

We can all play together on the band without stress i think.
