Ok Peter it is not a problem, but we try to be responsive to user input :-)) I thought maybe there was a glitch in the set up.

HI Alan

I think that's what I said.

I am no longer registered with the Yahoo Group because the Blacksheep seemed to be just as active and doing everything I need personally. I think I was expecting too much from the Yahoo. I am sure those using it are happy. I de-registered because of Yahoo groups overload here and the temptation to add unwanted superfluous comment was too strong so best I should disengage.

I shot from the hip about the repository because not looked in it lately for reasons stated above. I am sure it now meets my minimum so I retract any criticism implied or otherwise unreservedly.

Hi Pete that is the first report of any problems with the Yahoo group, as it is set up virtually the same way as the softrock group I am keen to know what the difference is. There are not a lot of options available, the way it deals with attachments is possibly the most "obvious" and that was set up to the users choice.

Thanks Eddie

I was initially in favour of Yahoo but it seems very "clunky" now and the repository not so good as I had hoped. At the time I was modelling it on the Softrock Yahoo group that works very well. However in attempt to limit the number of groups here I pulled out but went back the other day for a peek and what did I find my Blacksheep posting. I am not complaining its just I wondered why or if there had been a combining or something.

Your comments have answered my question and thanks for the advice.

Good point Pete

I tend to post here for sked and comment messages that could be considered clutter on the Yahoo archive, and Yahoo for monumental announcements and technical advances of benefit for mankind to be saved for ever, (well maybe not).

However stuff does get replied to on here and also echoed by the replying station on Yahoo, so what you didn't intend to go to Yahoo appears there. Also it can happen that a personal reply to someone about a Blacksheep post can gather some moss and  get posted on both reflectors.

Care needed.

Hi all

You have heard the _expression_ "Is there an echo in here?". But there seems to be one on the Yahoo LF group.... why?
