Hi Jay and Laurence, Mmmm the depression of Dst was not that bad by my reckoning there must be a bit of something else in that path. Maybe the auroral edge has moved south a bit more?? If that is the case Jays path should improve in the next couple of nights but the path to alaske may stay down for longer ??
The Kp only managed a 3 which is not normally significant.

Ouch! - awful up here - DCF39 just a few dBs above noise at 0200Z.... Another night of Aurora perhaps!

 Got to say this is the worst early Dx season Ive seen for 10 years...roll on Sunspot minima :-)
