Roelof,

ah, yes, I had overlooked that Trond had already mentioned Fx = 12.700 kHz. According to your measurement, and in analogy to F8 but with F0 replaced by the alternate 781.25, this one should probably be

Fx = 260/16 * 781.25 Hz = 12695.3125 Hz

Will try to check it in a narrow spectrogram when I get home.

Hello Markus,

I can hear now:

11.905 kHz, 12.500 Khz, 12.649 kHz, 12.695 kHz, 13.281 kHz, 14.881 kHz and
15.625 kHz.
So there are now 7 stations active.

12.695 kHz is not mentioned in Trond's description, but 12.700 kHz is.
So, I assume that this is probably the same station and it operates in
conjunction with the secondary frequency set.

All other frequencies are accurate to the Hz, so 12.695 is that as well.
I guess you are aiming for more precision?

... actually you seem to have found a new one on 12.70 kHz which has not been listed before. Would be interesting to measure this frequency exactly and try to deduce a common divider.

Hi Roelof,

thanks for the hint. This must be their alternate frequency set, as mentioned in Trond's article
The extra traces are nicely visible, eg on Lubos' VLF Grabber

Hello all,

This morning the Russian hyperbolic positiion system Alpha is transmitting
on three extra frequencies.
See attached screenshot.
