For the West and Northern Pacific side there can also be a dusk Eu/Pre dawn West coast USA/AK opening too at MF and LF - typically Ive only seen this in mid Winter on really "good" days but it happened last winter for about a week or so before Mr K followed by Mr A  went up an integer notch or more. So dont spare the amps around
 
 It also has to be quiet out to my West from Asian QRN.
 
Long haul continues to improve slowly with traces from Eu on MF before it got lighter here (yep that Eu dusk say 16-19Z /Alaska pre dawn) -
 
 (Nice conditions to Eu on 40m this morning for West coast USA stations)

MF PROPAGATION
The optimum time on MF for UK/USA is USA sunset on 600 metres and 160 metres,  this applies to East Coast USA and spreads across North America as the night progresses until the Optimum time for the UK to work the Pacific coast USA is UK sunrise.
