Roman - thanks - I hope he has more success than me and GL to him,. I found that in UB that splatter from their home station on 164khz caused me a lot of LF receive problems, but I could have done better on receive. We were based in late spring and early summers over 2 years in two locations. One to the SW side of town overlooking the power station tower which was pretty good for radio, being a disused old army barracks, and the second on the North side of the city which was pretty awful QRNwise. I just took a look for the 164 carrier and could nt hear it - I recall it wasnt on all the time due to power issues but it was strong in BY a couple of years back.
