Hi Joe,
Hmm, maybe the supply voltage drops a bit during the PTT is down (driver
current consumption)? Do you also use 2 voltage levels? For me it is 5V
and 12V where 5V is stable and 12V may drop a bit during key down. So if
you're generating your TX frequency by a xtal which is affected by a
dropping supply voltage, there may be a small change in frequency.
Just a theory...
