Ok Stefan,
I wondered why there where another set of decodes from you , after
last nights long run !
I have seen G8HUH reporting via the psk system, he seems to have a
very isolated qth , with low noise as the reports are always very
low s/n , he is sending in OP8 this evening , ive just noticed his
web-beacon and can see reports for him , I have connected the 32 ft
off cent fed sloper to the LF radio >> 19:41 136 DK7FC Op8 -31 dB>>>
22:31 136 DK7FC Op8 -20 dB , now ur signal is 11 dB stronger in the
night ..
Im also sending ROS -MF-2 on 501 dial set at the same time, using
the main Ae , Op is still decoding :)
500 , yes ground wave is ok , but at the moment , band is only open
late in the night ,
CW can be a problem with the high (local) noise level , and access to
data modes is limited , by the need to translate audio > 500Khz ,
which has prevented many stations from running any mode or beacon ..

Subject: LF: UA4WPF and G8HUH
Hi Graham, LF,
There was a decode from UA4WPF in OP8!
Unfortunately the program hung up when i attempted to control the PC via
remote. So the report S/N is lost. Never mind...
Actually i wanted to do some MF operation tonite but most often there was
no answer to my CW CQ calls to that time. Seems that most OMs go to bed
before the band opens (shorter groundwave range) or just want a first
contact. So i have to wait for the winther time so the QSO can be done
after the Tagesschau...
So i spend some more time in OP8. It is nice to see so many stations
there. BTW who is G8HUH? Is he member of the LF reflector (i mean the real
one)? Is he a newcomer? I often thought i saw him in OP8 on my grabbe with
a strong signal but obviously it was PA0A.
