I think a change to OP32 , would of been a
good move tonight , the band seems to be worse
than last night , , its not quite as social
as OP8 , but the 32 min Tx cycle should improve
the dx decode rate ..
500 also has problems as Gerhard
only managed part decodes , on the 500 sked
Joe VO1NA may decode you on 136 , if
he's about
NB There should be no filtering
before the Op application , José's
recommendation is to get the audio to the
application as un-modified as possible , filters/clippers
etc will degrade the s/n performance
closing now 73 -G.

Yes , can see that peak , may be a
change to OP32 would decode in the day ? , if
nothing else it should extend the decode
windows ! but that would need a little
pre-warning to ensure all monitors have
changed over , would be interesting with
the band 'closed' to see if the
extra dB's + time , managed to decode in
the USA /Canada , but I assume dfc39 is
monitored as well , is it showing
? No idea if someone in the US east coast monitors DCF39
continuously. From my impressions about the chances of W1VD as the receiving
station and me as the transmitting station there would be a realistic chance for
a decode in the tonights condx. Jay, what is your opinion?
