Yes Dennis A lot on nice amateurs shifted frequency to give me a report which was nice. Well the application would not pick up a com port, the window was just blank, and try as I might the damn thing wouldn't connect. I played around with the port USB numbers in application manager but nothing worked....... left it over night and all is well in the morning ..... you tell me? Oh and while we are on. Is this what you refered to during our QSO........ "Maybe get Dennis on as well....... I have reservations about encouraging Dennis with computers after the VAC debacle! " The dictionary definition is
... A sudden, disastrous collapse, downfall, or defeat; a rout. A total, often
ludicrous failure. Which of the above definitions don't you agree with? .......... hee hee sorry Dennis .... If I mention any one in a mail I usually CC them it's only descent. But I thought you would grab hold of that ..... :-) Anyway you will smile when you hear that I have just dropped a full cup of tea on the carpet while answering this ...... Poetic Justice? Opera is a form of CW and as such deserves a look at like FSK but probably narrower that 20c/s at the keying rate used. I have some comparisons and a method of calculating the band width of CW somewhere I reckons it's very narrow. 73 es GL Pete M0FMT IO91UX From: DENNIS EASTERLING <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Saturday, 2 June 2012, 17:24 Subject: LF: Re: beacon on 501.59kc/s USB RX dial
Hi Pete
Been busy and did not read your emails until it was
too late, but judging by reports it looks good, though pity about PC
crash. It seems that you sorted out the opera keying, I wonder what
was wrong before?
