Hi Stefan,
This is not for the LF loop tuner, which uses a 15kV vacuum
variable and is working fine. The capacitor is for a balanced,
link-coupled HF tuner. I should have marked my post as OT.

Probably, if Warren wants to have replacement parts for his transmit loop
tuner, then he will need parts of another league. 4 kV is nothing as well
as

Hi Warren,
perhaps you might might find something suitable there:
http://www.schubert-gehaeuse.de/prod04.htm
They have - among other stuff - split stator cap. kits up to
2x15-280pF 2kV/4kV (DKS8).

You can also order every single part for building e.g. a split stator
capacitor,
so you maybe could realize other values.

Hello the list,
Has anyone had dealings with Mainline Electronics of Leicester
which now has taken over Jackson Bros?
I am looking to buy a large split-stator capacitor for a balanced
link-coupled tuner and Jackson appears to be the only source...
